I'm looking for ancestry information on my great, great grandfather Thomas Dalton, born Feb 3 1809 in Garton, Yorkshire, England.

Would also appreciate any information on his wife Rachel Monkman, born in 1809 in Sherburn, Yorkshire, England.

I've also hit a dead end with my great grandmother Jane Alice Atkinson, married to William H. Dalton on Mar 25 1871 in Yorkshire, England.

Any help with these families would be appreciated.

Would your Thomas Dalton be the father of Henry & Joseph Dalton. Henry was a preacher in Ks & Mo. Married Maria Graves in 1853 in England.

Sorry it took so long to reply.  My g grandfather Thomas had 10 children, but as far as I can tell from my records (not sure how complete they are,) none were named Henry or Joesph.
