Hi all,  I have only just discovered I am a Dalton,  having believed the name I needed to chase was DOLPHIN.

My 3xgreat-grandmother was born in England but her parents are proving elusive.  I have seen 2.5 different sets of names given as her parents but won't list them in case they add confusion.

Other details I know are:

Married to James LUGG (born in England)

12 children all born in South Australia:

Maria Jane 1852
Elizabeth Ann 1854
Christopher George 1856
Isabella Susan 1857
Mary 1859
William James 1861
Jemima 1863
Margaret Jane 1864
John Joseph 1867
Frances Emma 1869
Edith Ellen 1871
Martha Louisa 1874.

Thanks in advance for any help you're able to provide.
Pip.

Hello,

If you peruse the Dalton Data Bank page for South Australia, all of the LUGG Family are listed. The link is:
http://www.daltondatabank.org/southaustralia.html#births2

I realize that this is just confirming the information you already have, but there amy be other clues within the information in the listing.

Best of luck!
