The 2003 meeting of the DGS was held in Llanrhidian, South Wales at the North Glower Hotel on the Gower Peninsula. From there the members was taken on a tour to view our Dalton sites. A great time was had by all!

The caption refers to an "unknown lady".  She is Rosemary Dow (nee Craig), a fourth cousin of mine and another descendant of John Dalton and Hannah Neale.  Rosemary Dow is a long standing DGS member and she is descended from Sir Cornelius Neale Dalton, who had four daughters and no sons.

I welcome the photos of the 2003 Gathering in Wales appearing on the website.  You will find some more details about this gathering in "Daltons in History" Vol 6 No 7 (Jul 2003).  We hope soon to include a fuller report on the website under "Past Gatherings" with a larger selection of photographs in our "Photo Gallery".  Watch this space!
