My grandparents lived in Nebraska before moving to South Dakota. Dalton is a middle name handed down thru several generations. My grandfather that I can find is the beginning. He was born in 1902 in Kent Nebraska. Was there any Dalton families around there? My grandfather & father's middle name was Dalton, brother named Dalton and his son named Dalton. I can only fathom it was because of a Dalton surname that hung around Bromwich surname in the late 1800's early 1900's.
