Karen Dalton Preston:
I am researching the family of James Dalton who emigrated from Ireland to New Jersey in 1879.  He married Nora Fitzgerald; they had 7 children, all born in Bayonne.

The godparent of their first child was a Patrick Dalton.  Patrick could have been related, but I have no info on him. 

I would like to hear from anyone who is researching the same Dalton line.
