Hi,
I am trying to trace my g-g-grandmother's (Winifred Dalton) parents. Here is the information I have from her death certificate:
Father: Patrick Dalton
Mother: Anne McLoughlin
Place of birth: Wicklow, Ireland about 1860.
I have found an entry on this site for a Richard Dalton, born 1864 to Patrick Dalton and Anne Laughlin, Kilcashel, Rathdrum, which may be related as Winifred named one of her sons Richard (my g-grandfather).
Winifred immigrated to Australia in 1878 under the care of her uncle William Kenny.
Any help would be much appreciated as I have been hitting a brick wall for years.
